THE FUTURE ISSUE, NO. 14
WHENEVER WE COME TO the end of a year we naturally look back and see what we have accomplished. When we come to the end of a decade, we are forced to look even deeper and see what we’ve become. This naturally begs the question: Where are we going next? When I started this issue, I had to ask myself these questions, but it was difficult to get my bearings with all of the commotion happening in our country. For a while, I grew pessimistic. But as I delved deeper, “The Future” became clearer. To me, looking ahead is not about putting a spotlight on our past mistakes. It’s about being positive and hopeful of what can be done to better our future. It’s about being imaginative and inclusive. Have a look at what the future holds and happy New Year.
